I just do my best to rise to the challenge. He's made it perfectly clear that he's already engaged the best in evangelical thought and found it unimpressive, so as I see it there's only two reasons why he has any interest in anything I write: 1) He thinks I'm every bit as imbecilic as Mister Correlation does and he likes to toy with me. 2) He thinks I have potential and he likes to challenge me. He himself has indicated that <a href="http://ldstalk.wordpress.com/2009/03/11/evangelicals-theosis-exaltation/#comment-7510" rel="nofollow">this is the case</a>. And if #2 is correct, I guess I'm flattered and I'm happy to do my best, even when "my best" looks mighty pathetic.
