Merry Christmas, Jack!

That Jesus Girls book sounds interesting. What do you think of it?

Hope you're enjoying yourself in Danville.

The Kenneth Minkema class looks really good. It looks like you'll be (rightly) studying a lot of Jonathan Edwards, and it's too bad you're not actually here at Yale. A lot of my friends who studied JE last semester got to got to look at his actual sermons written in his own hand. The Mormonism component also looks interesting, and while I'm glad Minkema uses the term Mormon Christian (which I think is very appropriate) I don't know if TEDS itself would sympathize or agree (even though I know they wouldn't call us unwashed cultists). But I certainly hope so.

Of course God gives us good gifts just to see out joy and excitement. I always amazed what things he blesses me with that are even better than what i was asking for.
