Well, that, and a whole slew of Marxist wealth redistribution policy proposals. Those will play well with the Code Pink nutcakes, but in Real America, not so much.

The O-Bomb is a dud.

Congratulations, Mrs. Vice President. I can’t wait to cast my vote for you and Senator McCain.

You’ve got to listen to the doctor, and stop breaking your pills in half.

1. Remember, Obama has known he was going to be the Democratic presidential nominee for months and months. He’s had plenty of time to do his own speech.

2. I’ve already explained that it’s not whether or not a candidate fought a war, but how Palin delivered the point. If it were all about a candidate fighting a war, I would have voted for Kerry in 2004, and I didn’t. I definitely don’t think that wartime experience is always a plus; I just think Palin put it very well in this case.

3. I can’t believe anyone is even entertaining the invasive notion that Trig Palin is Sarah’s grandson instead of her son. Let’s start by looking at the math: the chances of a 16 year-old girl conceiving a Down Syndrome child are about 1 in 2000. The chances of a 43 year-old woman conceiving a Down Syndrome child are about 1 in 20. Just based on those odds, which one do you think is the mother?

Where are the hospital records? Let me get this straight, you think Sarah and Bristol Palin should have to turn over their PRIVATE prenatal medical records because liberal bloggers think (against ridiculous mathematical odds) that Sarah is lying about her pregnancy? Have you ever been pregnant? When I was pregnant, they wouldn’t even let me stand in line near the counter at the prenatal clinic if another woman was already there discussing something with a receptionist. Pregnancy privacy laws are every bit as serious as abortion pregnancy laws. They’re very strict.

There are many pictures of Sarah Palin looking pregnant in her third trimester, and that people did not pick up on the pregnancy earlier is no surprise if you’ve lived in Alaska. I lived in Anchorage for 10 years; people wear bulky winter clothes from October to March (the time Sarah Palin was pregnant and no one knew). A pregnancy would be very, very easy to conceal.

It’s not guilty until proven innocent, it’s innocent until proven guilty. Until we see better evidence than people squinting at the navals of the Palin women in 2006 pics, the burden of proof is on the people who think Sarah lied, and so far that evidence has come down to wild fatsuit theories and teenage baby fat. Not very compelling.

How in the world did I overlook George H. W. Bush in my last post. One of my favorites, even if nice guys are easily overlooked. Forget that second paragraph, and forgive me, George!

Obama may have a speechwriter, but he didn’t use one for his acceptance speech. Palin was handled extensively for both her speech (Matt Scully) and her delivery.

The last President to have fought in a war for you is Jimmy Carter. Does that put you more in favor of him than others who have succeeded him?

You pronounce it a “fact” that Trig is Sarah’s grandson, but what proof do you have to show that it is? Can you provide photographic evidence of Sarah’s having been pregnant recently? Why did Bristol look more pregnant than Sarah did last year? How plausible is the story to you about Sarah’s water breaking in Texas and her then taking an 8 hour flight to Anchorage despite having a known risky pregnancy, with nobody noticing or being told anything on the trip? Where are the hospital records? Don’t you think you should at least wait to see whether Bristol carries her baby to term before accepting the story that she couldn’t possibly be Trig’s mother?

I’m not saying that Sarah isn’t the mother of Trig. But when there is conflicting or suspicious evidence like this, how can you pronounce things as being true or false before all the facts are in?

And, though I shouldn’t need to say it, you know good and well the subject is Sarah’s honesty, and not anyone else.

Thank you for dropping by with the Obama camp talking point that she had a speech written for her. If you think that in any way discredits Palin, you must think employing speechwriters is an unusual occurrence in the political world, which means you are woefully uninformed. (Hint: Obama has a speechwriter, too!)

I think “facts” are bias? Which “facts” are you talking about, the one where Trig Palin is actually her grandson? Or the Alan Colmes story about her not seeking proper prenatal care? Or the one where the New York Times reported on the front page that she was a member of the AIP? Those facts? Yes, the media is working to smear her. If you can not admit this you are, again, very out of touch with reality.

McCain is the only candidate who has actually fought in a war for you. That is a fact. It does not mean you have to vote for him; as we saw in the 2004 election, wartime experience alone does not merit a vote. However, Palin played the point brilliantly in her speech.

Peggy Noonan is a douche, a Washington insider, the kind of Republican Sarah Palin is going to shake up. Of course she hates Palin, and guess what? Nobody cares.

Again, thanks for dropping by with all the liberal blogger talking points. Maybe you should try not letting other people do your thinking for you, there’s a chance you’ll sound less ignorant. I did a draft on my computer of all of these thoughts before I tuned in to what other bloggers and political commentators were saying about the speech. I’m not saying they’re brilliant, but they’re sure as hell my own.

I found out when Tim Pawlenty said to David Gregory on MSNBC in response to a question about Palin’s speech tonight :

the liberal media is working to smear her? does that include the 2 major conservative newspapers of alaska who have called her unprepared and called her out on the mistruths shes spoken about her time as mayor/gov. ? im sorry if you think facts are bias. what theyve covered on tv so far has not even begun to touch the negative information thats out there, documented.

mccain has fought for me? last i check he voted against equal pay for woman (ledbetter fair pay act) She supports him on this. he supported the supreme courts outrageous decision in ledbetter vs.goodyear.

look at what republican strategist Mike Murphy who once advised mccain, and a republican former speech writer and commentator Peggy Noonan said off the air- dispite the fact that on the air they give her glowing praise:
