Has Obama’s chief media strategist been a naughty boy? UPDATED

You’ll have to read the entire thing at the Jawa Report. There’s good evidence to suggest that David Axelrod, the chief media strategist for the Obama campaign, commissioned another PR firm to release an anti-Palin video and make it appear to be an anonymous grassroots effort by concerned Americans. And if he did? It may not have been legal.

Here’s the video comparing the voice-over actress from official Obama campaign videos to the voice of the actress used in the allegedly anonymous grassroots anti-Palin video:

Further evidence that someone was caught with his hand in the cookie jar? The anti-Palin video was almost immediately pulled from YouTube when Jawa posted his exposé a few hours ago. That doesn’t sound like the reaction of anonymous, concerned average Joes to me. UPDATE: All of the sock puppet YouTube accounts spreading the video were closed within the hour as well.

If they can find more solid evidence tying this to Axelrod, then this could be big.

UPDATE II: Ethan S. Winner of Winner & Associates has responded and is attempting to take full blame for the video, without acknowledging the lies he engaged in to promote the video or the lies contained within “his” video. His story is full of holes and I’ll be making fun of it tomorrow.
