Mormonism & Me

The story of how I began studying The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon church). Eventually I’ll go into my experience as an evangelical Christian at Brigham Young University, and I have already written extensively on my Mormon-Evangelical interfaith marriage. It might also be relevant to read my testimony of why I believe in Jesus Christ.

  1. Hello! I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for over 11 years. I don’t talk doctrine. I talk life, because everything can be interpreted as the individual sees it. Life is what it is! It continue to amaze me how so many professed Christians could allow the divinity of God to be removed at will by a select few of non-Chrisitians. As religious differences continue to heat up. Moral decay continues to over come our society.

Example! There are street gang violence all across the US. There are drugs taking over communities across the US. Families are falling apart. Why does the Latter-Day Saint church continue to grow? Because of the Doctrines. Individuals continue to hold fast to their old beliefs and standards of living after joining the church and therefore many fell to progress. I am sure you see that in your place of worship. As the saying goes,”you can’t teach an old dog new tricks”. The adversary is alive and well!
